Horrmundsgården is a comfortable accommodation for you who want to experience the tranquil and quiet forest in Dalarna
A place to relax inside in the parlour or outside in the seating area. Why not make a little fire on the barbeque and watch as the flames rise up into the sky. In winter we make a cross-country ski track and in summer you can take a dip in the lake Horrmundsjön. There is a playroom for the children and they can also run around outside. After a wonderful day skiing it can also be a perfect ending to enjoy the heat of our wood-fired sauna.
An open Wi-fi is available for guests and TV’s and various board games can be found in the parlour. You can borrow our snow shoes or canoes depending on the season and we have several outdoor games like kubb, boule and badminton. In the playroom you can for example play darts, table football or couronne as well as board games for all ages. Our two Icelandic sheep dogs, Lemmy and Dio, love running around with children and other dogs outside. They are really friendly and playful.
Our popular breakfast buffet with home baked bread and waffles is definitely worth a try. You can rent bed linen from us and avoid cleaning your room at departure against a little extra cost. If you want you can arrange everything yourself. You have access to a large, fully equipped guest kitchen and cleaning products are available for your use as well.
Our rooms accomodate 2-6 guests and there are 45 beds in total. All rooms have bunk beds and there are shared WC’s and showers close to all rooms.
